The essentials before you buy
Short sleeve or long sleeve?
Long sleeves give maximum coverage — ideal for paddling, kayaking or very reactive skin. Short sleeves are enough for the beach and swimming. Every model comes in both versions.
Is the T-shirt worn on its own or over a swimsuit?
Both. It can be worn directly as a swim top for swimming or surfing, or over a bikini for extra coverage. The fitted cut does not gape when wet.
How long does the protection last?
UPF 80 protection is woven into the fabric, not a surface treatment. It is guaranteed after 80 washes — several seasons of use. A rinse in fresh water after swimming is all it needs.

Our T-shirts are made from recycled Italian technical fabrics (GRS) that are resistant to chlorine, salt and sun cream. They dry in minutes after swimming and retain their UV protection for 80 washes — designed to last.
UPF 80 certified to UV Standard 801
The German UV Standard 801 tests the fabric under real-world conditions: wet, stretched, and after 80 washes. UPF 80 means that 99% of UV rays are blocked — the highest level of protection on the market. This is the standard we apply as standard across our entire range of women’s T-shirts.
A photochromic zip changes colour in the sun
All our long-sleeved T-shirts feature a photochromic zip that changes from pale pink to dark purple as UV intensity rises. A direct visual indicator that is both educational and stylish — sun protection becomes a fashion statement.

Why choose a UV-protective T-shirt for women?

Is it suitable for swimming?
Yes. The recycled Italian fabric is resistant to chlorine and salt. Rinsing with fresh water after each swim will extend its lifespan. The T-shirt dries in a few minutes.
How should it be cared for?
Wash at 30°C, do not tumble dry, do not bleach, do not iron directly. Rinse with fresh water after use in the sea or swimming pool. UV protection is maintained for 80 washes.

What is the difference between UPF 50+ and UPF 80?
UPF 50+ blocks over 97% of UV rays. UPF 80, certified to UV Standard 801, blocks up to 99% of UV rays — tested on wet, stretched fabric after 80 washes. Our entire range of women’s T-shirts is UPF 80 by default.
