ENGINEERED FOR OPTIMAL PROTECTION

THE UV-EXTRA™ PRODUCT LINE

Your children are unpredictable: swimming in the sea then a bike ride, sea at the beginning of the day and swimming again. Weather forecast: sunny weather, high temperature.

We designed UV-EXTRA™ products to support your children in their active lives, in even more situations. Our innovative technology is made for those moments when comfort and protection take priority over UV. Designed to provide protection, flexibility, functionality and style in their lives, they can now have more adventures, say yes more often and do more every day.

NEW PRODUCTS. NEW BENEFITS UVEXTRA™ technology offers a wide range of benefits. You will find this technology in wetsuits and rashguards. Whatever your needs, they are all designed to offer maximum protection.

THE SCIENCE OF PROTECTION We’ve been innovating in UV protection for a decade. We study how the body reacts to conditions and activity, to create technologies that bring you more comfort, more often. Whether you’re in a park for a walk, on the beach or on a hiking trail, in the pool, our technologies are designed to be with you whenever you need them, anytime and anywhere.

Today, being UV STANDARD 801 certified means: - Ensuring consumer safety by identifying the sun protection factor (UPF) by taking into account the conditions of use and the aging of textiles. - Proving the effectiveness of the product against ultraviolet radiation. - International recognition. - Offering a new alternative for consumers concerned about their health and well-being

WHY CHOOSE 80?

Because your children's skin is very vulnerable to the sun, UPF 80 ensures maximum protection in real conditions.

TESTS

Our UV Standard 801 certified products have been tested and certified against UV rays. In order to ensure the best protection for your children, we have tested new and used products subjected to tests: WEAR, HUMIDITY, STRETCHING, BEFORE AND AFTER WASHING. The UV Standard 801 certification guarantees you protection of the skin against solar radiation.

Despite a T-shirt, skin can appear red. Basically, any fabric offers some UV protection. The denser and darker the fabric, the more protection it provides. But a heavy black poncho is not ideal for summer. However, a dry white cotton shirt has a UPF of just 10, which can drop to 2 when wet. The UV protection of textiles is greatly reduced by moisture, stretching, abrasion and washing.
