Who we are, in three minutes
UVEA is a French brand born on the Opal Coast in 1989, then officially founded in Roubaix in 2007. We design, manufacture and distribute technical clothing that protects the skin — baby, child, woman, man — without resorting to the chemical sunscreens that irritate skin and bleach corals.
Our high-performance Italian textiles are UPF 80, tested to the UV Standard 801 method. They block 98.75% of UV rays — wet, stretched, worn and washed.
We manufacture on demand — design in Roubaix, fabrics from Italy, printing on our own machines and garment construction in Nabeul (Tunisia). A short, traceable supply chain. Zero dormant stock. Zero overproduction. Zero unsold pieces.
