Who we are, in three minutes
UVEA is a French brand born on the Opal Coast in 1989, then officially founded in Roubaix in 2007. We design, manufacture and distribute technical clothing that protects the skin — baby, child, woman, man — without resorting to the chemical sunscreens that irritate skin and bleach corals.
Our high-performance Italian textiles are UPF 80 certified to UV Standard 801, the world's strictest standard. They block 98.75% of UV rays — wet, stretched, after 80 washes. This isn't a marketing claim: it's a lab report.
We manufacture on demand, in Europe — design in Roubaix, fabrics from Italy, printing on our own machines, garment construction in Bulgaria (EU). 1,527 km total. Zero dormant stock. Zero overproduction. Zero unsold pieces.
