For those who prefer a shorter, more form-fitting cut, the UVEA swim briefs offer the same fabric quality in a more iconic style. Approved for use in French municipal swimming pools, our briefs are designed for swimming as well as for the beach.

Every UVEA design is original, drawn by Anthony in Roubaix, then printed on recycled Italian fabric using sublimation on our Mimaki machines, installed in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) at our partner manufacturer’s premises. A swimsuit is as much a protective garment as it is a fashion statement — our designs are signature pieces.
Recycled Italian fabric, GRS and OEKO-TEX certified
Our Italian technical fabrics are made from recycled yarns (GRS certified) and are OEKO-TEX certified — free from substances harmful to the skin. Dries in minutes, resistant to chlorine, salt and sun cream. Designed to last beyond a single season.
No sand, no wind, no false notes
The tight weave of our jerseys prevents sand from penetrating the fabric. The thermoactive material allows the wind to pass through and wicks away sweat. Extra-flat seams (flatlock) — no chafing, no pressure points.

Each jersey is made to order in Europe (fabric sourced from Italy, manufactured in Bulgaria). Delivered to your door in 1–2 weeks (tracked post) or within 5 working days (DHL Express) — zero stock, zero unsold items, zero textile waste. Boxer shorts or swim briefs: which to choose?
Boxer shorts offer more coverage and are suitable for the beach and water sports. Briefs are more fitted, ideal for swimming in the pool and the Mediterranean style. Both are made from recycled Italian fabric and offer the same resistance to chlorine and salt.
Are they allowed in public swimming pools?
Yes. Both boxer shorts and UVEA briefs comply with the hygiene requirements of French municipal swimming pools (technical fabric).
Are they resistant to chlorine and salt?
Yes. The Italian technical fabric is designed for both swimming pools and the sea. Rinsing with fresh water after each swim is sufficient to preserve the material.
How should it be cared for?
Wash at 30°C, do not tumble dry, do not bleach, do not iron directly. Rinse with fresh water after each swim.
Does the swimsuit provide UV protection?
Yes. Our men’s swimwear is UPF 50+ certified: over 97% of UV rays are blocked across the entire covered area. The protection does not wash off in water.
How do I choose the right size?
Check the size guide on each product page (S to XXL). The swimsuit should fit snugly without feeling too tight. If in doubt, choose your usual underwear size.
Where do the designs come from?
All our designs are original, created by Anthony in Roubaix (France) using Illustrator. They are then printed using sublimation onto recycled Italian fabric before being made into garments in Bulgaria.
