Recycled Italian fabrics, exclusive patterns
Every UVEA swimsuit is designed in Roubaix, then sublimation-printed on our Mimaki machines and manufactured in Plovdiv (Bulgaria) by our partner manufacturer. The high-performance Italian fabric (GRS-certified recycled) offers a soft feel, a perfect fit and quick-drying after swimming.
Built to last, chlorine and salt resistant
The UVEA swimsuit is resistant to both swimming pool chlorine and sea water. UV protection is maintained for 80 washes — made for this season, designed for the next.
UPF 50+ protection across the entire jersey
Our one-piece swimsuits are UPF 50+ certified: over 97% of UV rays are blocked across the entire covered area. Tested when wet, stretched and after numerous washes, this protection is inherent to the fabric — it is not washed away by water or sunscreen.
No sunscreen = protected corals
By covering a large area of the body, our swimwear reduces the amount of sun cream needed. Less chemical sun cream in the water means less oxybenzone in the oceans — a substance recognised as toxic to corals. A small gesture for a single swim, a real difference over the course of a summer.

Why choose a UV-protective swimsuit rather than a standard one?
A standard swimsuit offers no certified UV protection: UV rays pass through the fabric and cause sunburn on the covered areas. A UPF 50+ swimsuit blocks over 97% of UV rays, continuously, even in the water.

Is it allowed in public swimming pools?
Yes. Our swimsuits are made from polyester/spandex, a technical fabric accepted at the vast majority of French municipal swimming pools.
How should I care for it?
Rinse with fresh water after each swim, hand wash or machine wash at 30°C, do not tumble dry, do not bleach, do not iron directly.
Is it resistant to chlorine and salt?
Yes. The Italian technical fabric is designed for both swimming pools and the sea. A rinse with fresh water is sufficient to preserve the material.

Yes. Like the entire UVEA range, our swimwear is made for you in Europe (fabric from Italy, manufactured in Bulgaria). Delivered to your door in 1 to 2 weeks (La Poste tracked) or within 5 working days (DHL Express). Zero stock, zero unsold items, zero textile waste.
What is the difference between UPF 50+ and UPF 80?
UPF 50+ blocks over 97% of UV rays. UPF 80 (certified to UV Standard 801, Germany) blocks up to 99%. Most of our women’s swimwear is UPF 50+ — sufficient for standard swimming.
